Performance by John Fairhurst Band – live Rockpalast (2019). Fairhurst packs the old blues rock genre into a box of sawdust. The shakes up the English musician properly and pumped so and with political awareness new impulses in a traditional genre. John Fairhurst channels his disagreement in his music. With a keen eye on society and politics, he interprets his version of Bluesrock. Great stuff!
After a great year of both touring and recording, the band have refined their sound citing a melting pot of influences from Jack White and The Black Keys to Queens of the Stone Age, Black Sabbath, Hendrix, Zappa, Iggy Pop, Captain Beefheart and Led Zeppelin.
