The Black Crowes – Live at Hard Rock Calling, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London (2013). Crowes have sold more than 30 million albums, and are listed at number 92 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock. They were labeled by Melody Maker as “The Most Rock ‘n’ Roll Rock ‘n’ Roll Band in the World” and the readers of Rolling Stone voted them ‘Best New American Band’ in 1990.
Band formed in Atlanta, GA, early 1980s, as punk ensemble Mr. Crowe’s Garden; debuted in Chattanooga, TN. In 1984 the style changed into rhythm blues and rock . Band toured the U.S. and Europe, opening variously for Heart, Robert Plant, Aerosmith, and ZZ Top. Their discography includes eight studio albums, four live albums and several chart-topping singles. After another breakup of the group in 2015, musicians switched to their own musical projects, which they were actively involved in before the collapse of band.
